Five-Second Rule

Every family has an unwritten rule that keeps the peace. Five-Second Rule is that rule, written down.

At heart, this rule says: decide once, and stop re-deciding. Every fresh decision costs energy and invites excuses. A rule already decided is a friend who has packed your bag while you were arguing.

Strip it to the floor and you find an old instruction: look carefully, judge slowly, act decently. The new name exists because the old instruction keeps being forgotten.

Time is the one currency the Reserve Bank does not print more of. Keep the name. Use the pause it gives you. That is the entire homework.
